Kietan da.

Wed Aug 17, 2005, 7:38 PM
I disappeared.

Right after Sakura con, in fact, 3 days later, I got a job, which ate up a lot of my time. Then come summer, I got a full time position, and there ya go, no time left after work, playing bass two nights/week, bowling, and church.

Not that I mind, but the DA account has been neglected. I'm glad they don't kick me off after a certain amount of time of not signing in.

To summarize,

Sakura con was pretty awesome. Not as awesome as Kumori-con, and I didn't meet as many new people as i did at Kumori-con. I didn't get my fair amount of free time/wander around time/talk to old friends time/meet cool people time as I would have liked. By the time i finally stalked a hottie, it was Sunday, so I got nothing except that he'd be at other cons. =(

Its interesting stalking guys when you're dressed like one. ^_^

The things that are sticking out the most:

1. Winning the journeyman cosplay skit was a massive adrenaline rush!
2. Watching 'The Cat Returns' with Heather
3. Listening to Ari's FMA filk
4. Being a slashy tennis team in the hallway with 7 people from PoT
5. Walking up to Melody and telling her to be in our skit
6. Sitting in the room watching TeniMyu
7. Hanging out with awesome people!!!
8. The doujinsh, OH the doujinshi!!! You can't forget the Doujin, okay?!
9. Group 'raping' Alana
10. MY ATOBE-BUCHOU PILLOW!!! And my plushies and other such great stuff I spent too much $$$ on!

Saaaaaaaaadly, I can't go to Kumori-con 2005. It falls on my vacation, which is one of the few things that takes priority.

Yay for vacations in California! Its going to be great! Me, Sami, and Ashlee!!! That's all that needs to strike California, right? Hee hee. If you want a postcard from Disneyland or whatnot, give me your address, and i'd be glad to.

My next con will be Sakura con 2006, next April. I will be staying in the hotel. Any other plans than that, I'm not sure.

I'm working on a cosplay for Haruka from Tactics and Rukia from Bleach. I'm designing the wings as we speak. (just taking a break!) I have a jacket i think might work for Haruka.

These are subject to change, as I've recently found 2 places in Seattle - a costume store and a mannequin shop (of all places) that sell reasonbly priced decent quality wigs, new and used. We'll have to see, I'm open to ideas of people you think I'd be good at/am talented enough to make their costume.

So I have the most interesting job. I spent most of today running around Seattle with my co-worker with a naked mannequin in the back of our car and hundreds of dollars of random party stuff. People looked at our naked realistic female mannequin and were like, 'freaks!'

Okay, so most people would be creeped out in the mannequin shop... dozens of realistic looking people standing in a room completely naked. It was interesting.

Radical Ecstasy is the state of mind that can be reached only by those who give up all control on the world around them and allow themselves to succumb to pure, and utter pleasure.

Yo Brandi! I just sent you an e-mail so I thought why not leave a comment here too. This goes without saying that the 'kekame-loser' made me laugh for several minutes. I don't understand the story behind it, but I love it!

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

hahaha!

there is a ska band called five iron frenzy... they have this song called "suckerpunch" and its all about being a dork (i LOVE this song!!!)

"coke bottle glasses, i'm sitting in the corner with my finger up my nose and my shoelace is untied again another day of school with no friends. social outcast, 2 grades ahead in math with my highwater pants, a dork or so to speak, tounge in cheek.

they're all suckerpunching me, get in line for a wedgie, all i want, and all i need is someone who believes in me

a song sung by underdogs for all the left out.
a flag flying for losers, somewhere in the heavens."

the sad part... is i am 2 grades ahead in math... i have glasses that are... nerdy... i love corners... shoelaces from hot topic always come untied... i'm tall. tall = highwaters. what more explanation do i need? this is like my theme song! ^_^ ever since i first heard this song, i have wanted a flag that says losers on it. cause that... would be rad.
